Fun Fact!!!

Last week was tough. I sat in a Property and Casualty Insurance course for four days, studied for one, and tested on the material for the state licensing exam the next.

Fun Fact #1: All insurance tests are hard, but they made it known that the Casualty test is the hardest and most failed.

Passing this test determined on whether or not I could keep my position at AmFam. In fact, we had three attempts to pass the exam and if we didn't do that within 21 days, we'd be shown the door. Needless to say, my stress levels were high and it felt like final exams week in college all over again (except this time it mattered so much more).

I sat at work all day on Friday and studied endlessly --as well as snap chatted.

No Break. No Lunch.

Just studying.

After work, I went home and studied some more. I planned on staying up all night as well, but pulling an all nighter at 26 is much more difficult than doing it at 21. I fell asleep at 1am. (I'm so old). Anyways, I took my "1st attempt" licensing test at 7:30 AM on Saturday and...........

 I PASSED!!!!

Following my super tough test, Matt and I left for the Hoosier state to visit Courtney and Lubo (at their new place!) The five and a half hour drive was dreadful, but we were so happy to see their new home and new town.

Their old home....

Their new home!

My "artistic" take on windmills

l

Stalker.

I love her!

Once we got there, we exchanged very belated gifts --- their wedding gift and my birthday gift.

Newlyweds!

^^^^ Lubo is soooo excited.

Wedding Cake wine.

Fun Fact #2: Courtney doesn't like cake and she is allergic to wine. I'm such a good friend.

My God-Cat, Stella.

Below are the pictures that Matt took after I asked him to get everything on camera of me opening gifts.......

Paparazzi!

Yep, thats what you get.

FUN FACT #3: Courtney is also a crazy cat lady.

Witness: Stella -- The Monster Kitty for Halloween.

It is now my goal to get E & L Halloween costumes. Stay Tuned....

We toured downtown Carmel before we went to dinner at Matt the Millers.

Then we toured the area. Courtney and Lubo were the best tour guides.

Fun Fact #4: Their cute town is surrounded by super creepy fake people on the sidewalks.

CREEPY EYES

This fake guy had a wedding ring on. The fake woman didn't.

SCANDAL!!

Matt being so adult like.

The next day after breakfast, we went to the Indianapolis Art Museum and posed with the infamous Love sign!

We decided that this is what my hair would look like if I lived in the 1800s

FUN FACT # 5: This is what my hair looks like now.

Below is the best.picture.ever.

In the background --- you see Lubo appreciating a very old and very famous piece of art. It looks as though he is trying to understand the piece and interpret its meaning.

In the foreground -- you see Matt setting up his lineup for his Fantasy Football team.

Oh Matthew.....

Next, we visited Bub's Burgers and Ice Cream. Its the second place that Lubo, Courtney, Matt, and I have visited that Man vs. Food (on the Travel Network) has also visited (First one was Minneapolis).

We even ran into Adam Richman from Man vs. Food!!!!!

Fun Fact #6: Its not really him........ Its just a picture.

We had such a great time in Indy and were sad to go so quickly. But we cannot wait to go back for Christmas and to visit Santa Claus, Indiana.

Fun Fact #7: This place is real. Matt and I should totally live there because its Christmas everyday.

After the weekend was over, I went back to work and decorated my cubicle with one of Courtney's birthday gifts (a cat mug that looks just like Ernie) and a cat calendar that I received from "Santa Claus" from last Christmas (AKA Matt's parents).

Yikes!! I'm a crazy cat lady!!!

But seriously, how cool is this cat?

In other news: ****Adrienne Testa (founder of the "Fun Fact") is running her millionth marathon this Sunday and I'm so so proud of her!

RUN ADDIE RUN!

FUN FACT OF THE CENTURY:

Matt got a promotion!

He is now a Quality and Training Analyst at American Family.

I am so so so so so proud of him!

Its amazing that the moment we started to go to church, rely on our faith, and just "let things go" --- everything started to work out...............

Until next week:
