Milwaukee, The Burbs, and Florida!

All in two weeks!! My oh my have I missed blogging! Needless to say its been a very, very busy two weeks...........

On Friday, Matt and I went to our first Cubs game of the season at Miller Park in Milwaukee with Matt's sister, Holli, and her husband, Matt.

Side Note: Believe it or not, my husband and two brother in laws on each side of our families are named Matt.... Know what our future son's name will be??

NOT MATT!

Anywho, the Cubs ended up losing. Go figure. But what is MOST irritating about the game is that they lost over an attempt to steal a base. If you get greedy, that's what you get. (We really had a chance to win, too!) Oh well. There is always next year, right? <--- Cubs Philosophy and Only Hope.

Even though we lost, I still managed to get a few cute pictures (and it was a great time!)

^ The best part of visiting Milwaukee. I may hate the Brewers, but the Wisconsin-ite in me has learned to love cheese, beer, and the sausage races at Miller Park. (Sigh)

The next morning, I headed to Rockford to get MORE hair cut off. The first cut I got (after the wedding) was an in between cut. Sort of like dipping my toes in the pool before jumping in. Well, after I fell in love with my new cut, I knew I wanted to go shorter.

I have always, always, always wanted to get the Posh Cut.

I mean, for years I've talked about it. Well, on Saturday I took the plunge.
PS: Please do not compare me to ^^ HER. Because that would just be a sad, sad comparison. She.is.just.so.beautiful. (bitch)

This is how my hair turned out....

Ha! Just kidding....

Well, not really. In reality, this is how my hair always look after I blow dry it.

Thank God for straighteners right??

(The back)

(The front of my new 'do) And me showing off my FIRST draft beer I have EVER ordered! Angry Orchard is quite delicious. See! Wisconsin has changed me. Who knew a WINO like me could like beer, too?

After the new cut, I headed to the Chicago burbs to visit my bestie and plan her bridal shower! I also had her honeymoon souvenir to give to her and I was surprised to get a belated wedding gift (and an amazing one at that!).

Remember when I said I didn't buy anything at Dash in Miami? Well, I lied. I stood in line and waited for the doorman to let me in so I could buy Court a Kardashian gift I'd knew she would love. Only for her would I do this.

PS: It wasn't until just now that I realized DASH came from KarDASHian. My mind works in strange ways, ladies and gentlemen.

She loved it!

This was her awesome wedding gift for us!

A bottle of wine for every first celebration/holiday as a married couple.

Isn't it so cute?!?!

That Sunday, I went to my sister's house to celebrate my nephew, Zakery's, first birthday. Which is absolutely cray cray because I feel like it was only yesterday that he was born.

So fragile. So tiny.

And every time I think of little Zakery Samuel, I think of him like this.

Or this.

But now he is officially a toddler. And a BIG BOY!

Isn't he such a handsome little devil?

Aunt Jaclyn even tried to get a picture with him, but nap time and "wanting to go back to Daddy" made it a little difficult - I still think he's cute and the pictures are quite funny.

He loves me.

That Thursday, Bob and Cindy (The Little Gym owners), Ryann (The Little Gym of Fitchburg's gym director), and myself left Madison for a weekend trip to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Other than learning that I'm an absolute horrible flyer (I almost got sick during landing), I had such an amazing time. For those of you who don't know Little Gym (98% of you), I have been working there since I was eighteen. I've known the curriculum, believed in its philosophy, fell in love with company, and admired the founders for almost eight years. I knew along time ago that this was the perfect job for me and that my ultimate goal would be to own one someday. I mean, I may not have my Master's degree, be a doctor, a lawyer, or a billionaire.... but OMG I love my job career and I couldn't imagine doing anything else (I mean, I come to work in YOGA pants, take off my shoes the second I walk in, play with adorable kids all day, celebrate children's success/milestones, and spend time with awesome families every day. Lucky? I think so). Anyways, I've dreamed of going to a reunion for so long and as the gym director of The Little Gym of Middleton, I got that chance.

So thankful.

Some of my favorite moments.

(This is before I nauseous. But I imagine my face looked very similar)

Hearing Randy and Robin (The Little Gym musicians and founders) sing live.

Randy McCoy!

I love them!

Robin Wes (the founder of TLG who went from opening one gym in Bellevue, Washington to creating an INTERNATIONAL company). Simply Amazing.

Jam out session in our hotel lobby with 100 Little Gymers at 1am! (We may or may not have gotten in trouble for the noise disturbance).

Catching the rays.

Eating at North Beach Fish Camp

The beach at night!

President's Award from The Little Gym International

Breakfast off the Beach!

Handstands on the beach (Sorry for the form ladies and gents, I was concerned more about my strapless bikini)

Beautiful.
Here is some of the amazing-ness I caught on video.

This was supposed to be a picture... Whoops. But it shows how we boarded the plane out of Madison Airport. Thats how SMALL Madison's airport is.

Bob and the rest of the car rocking out to "Don't Stop Believing" after dinner on Friday (this is my boss people! How lucky am I??) What a great time!

Our motivational speaker, Dan Thurmon, who was SO entertaining. He spoke about living life off balance on purpose. He did a handstand on the speaking stand, a round off back handspring back tuck on stage, and juggled KNIVES while riding a six foot unicycle. Yes, you read that correctly. And my mind was blown. UN-BELIEV-ABLE!

I had an AMAZING time, but I was definitely excited to come home to this.....

My boys <3

Oh, and Lulu, too.

In other news:

Matt and I will be ordering NEW countertops for our kitchen next Saturday! WOOP WOOP!!!

We got new patio furniture and it is SO cute!! But I want to wait for some flowers to bloom before showing off the cuteness.

We have found a breeder for a Shar Pei puppy -- Wrinkle Land Kennel in Illinois. Puppies are being conceived as you read this. They should be born in July. And will be available for us to bring home in September!!!! Which means... we are almost expecting!

Mom is Blue Ivy, a blue Shar Pei:

Isn't she a beauty??

And Dad is Chunk, a red fawn Shar Pei:

(Sigh) I could just cuddle him all day.

We are so so so so excited for July and September as we are the first on the list!!! WOohoOo!

Well, thats all for now folks. Until next Thursday.........

Have an awesome weekend! :)
