Father's Day Part Two (and SO many pics)

We had such a great father's day. In the morning, the pups and I woke up early and let Matt sleep in. He is usually the one to get up with them early in the mornings - so I figured he could use some extra rest on his special day. That allowed me to sign his cards, wrap his gift, make some yummy coffee, and get some cleaning done. Around 8:30ish - I opened the door to our bedroom and the puppies ran onto the bed and licked him until he agreed to wake up.

Present time!!!!!!

THE DOGFATHER.

Pappy and Wally liked eating the tissue paper.

Following present and coffee time, we got ready to meet my parents for breakfast.

Wally lays right near the shower when Matt is in it.
The boys cuddling --- and getting along for .2 seconds.

We treated my parents to breakfast then spent the rest of the day on their pontoon in Lake Koshkonog and the Rock River.

For Mother's Day - we got Lori and my mom a framed picture of Pappy and Wally.
My Dad was really concerned because we didn't include his grandcats.
So -- for Father's Day, we made sure he had a picture of Ernie and Lulu, too.

Boating Fun!!!

All four of us!

Other than getting incredibly burnt because I was totally irresponsible and didn't put on sunscreen - the day was perfect.

I know I posted this on Facebook - but Matt and I are TRULY so blessed to have the dads/parents that we do.

They are just remarkable and SO MUCH MORE than just our parents - they are our friends.

We cherish all the moments we spend with them and cannot thank them enough for all they've done.

I just LOVE that our wedding photographer captured this moment....

My Dad seeing me for the first time in my wedding gown right before he walked me down the aisle.

Lastly, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to my darling husband and excellent furfather - Matt!

Thank you for everything you do. Our babies ADORE you, and without you - we'd be so lost.

We are so proud and blessed to be yours!!
