Long time. No blog.

Life has been 50 shades of cray lately. Seriously so, so much going on. HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! It has quickly become my LEAST favorite holiday. More on that later...

At work, I am slowly transitioning from my administrative assistant role into my writing position, but as of now I'm sort of juggling both. I've officially had two stories published on our company website, and I swear to God - when I sat down to write the first one, I thought I was going to throw up.

Luckily, I got a lot of compliments on it - and I even convinced my current boss (the VP of Communications) to comment on the article and say it was well written. He obliged. It made me look cool.
There have been a ton of celebrations lately. A few weeks back, my dear friends Heather and Shawn got engaged! I couldn't be happy or more excited for them.

Last weekend, we went to John and Nicole Washington's wedding. It was so fun, absolutely beautiful, and Nicole was breathtaking.

And this week, Aria Rae Feery graced the world with her presence. I am so in love.

On June 30th, we were able to see Jupiter and Venus. WHICH WAS AWESOME.

And in the past couple of days, my little baby nieces got iPHONES! That's it! I'm officially old.

Although, we have had fun texting.

For the past five days, Ernie and Lulu have been locked in the far basement.

Recommended by Dr Gerbig to jump start them using the cat litter again. I've been calling it "kitty litter bootcamp", but Matt and I are both nervous that its really just going to piss them off more. No pun intended. The good news is that when they're locked in the basement with just their toys, food and water, and cat litter: they actually go potty in the right spot. The bad news? We're scared the second we let them out - they're going to PISS ALL OF THE PLACE in protest.

Wish us luck.

All day Thursday and yesterday, I posted on FB and Instagram how amazing thunder shirts were.

AND, I LIED.

The boys were so bat shit fucking crazy last night. Howling, barking, and crying from 9pm to 2am. It was like Chinese water torture, but instead of water - it was P&W barking NONSTOP.

I am so thankful for my freedom, and our country, and all our troops.

But I SERIOUSLY HATE fireworks.

I'm hoping to get them on a strong dose of drugs before next Independence Day.
Oh and, it's not even over yet!!
We expect them to be crazy all night tonight, too.

LOTS of VODKA/WINE.

Before all of the craziness with the fireworks and pups, we went boating earlier in the day with Matt's mom and dad. It was lovely.

And in twelve short days, we will be officially ON VACATION and headed towards Golf Shores, Alabama.

Beach, Pina Coladas, and sunshine.

I CAN'T WAIT.

Have a safe and happy night, ya'll.

Pappy and Wally will be terrified shitless. Me, probably drunk.
