1st annual Friendsgiving

BEST DAY EVER.

God has blessed me with the most amazing friends.

Prepping for Friendsgiving.

And obvi you saw these already... The turkey....

Matt and I took pictures for our holiday greeting card before everyone arrived. This is all you get to see for now. A picture of me testing the self timer and placement of the camera. Which was stacked on the crate, a couple of books, the wine box, etc.  PS: Christmas wrapping paper hung over a closet door makes a FAB backdrop.

Caution: 

Broiling sweet potatoes on high MAY cause fire. Especially when there is wine involved.

 After we got the fire out. S'more sweet potatoes!!

Luckily, all the fire alarms work. I also had a fire extinguisher on stand by, but hesitated using it because I really wanted those sweet potatoes............

The pups were fabulous. The stars of the night. And they loved the leftover turkey!

Thank heavens our dining room table has two leaves!!! 12 people seated around our table for dinner.

WE EVEN SAID A PRAYER BEFORE DINNER AND EVERYTHING!!!!

Which was totally great because our dinner conversation was anything but churchlike.

Chelsea Woodman, Courtney Bumber, Julie Kincaide, Ashley Lamano and husbands -- we missed you!!!! You better be at the next one! This is now going to be an annual thing -- but held on Saturday evenings (you know, so we can have more jello shots).
