Pappy and Wally's first snow

Before bringing the boys home WE SWORE THEY WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE FURNITURE....

Pappy is sitting next to me on the couch as I write this.....

The boys are getting bigger and bigger by the SECOND. Its so sad to think I used to hold Pappy with one hand. Now, I can barely hold him with both arms! WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?

Potty training is getting better and better by the day, but not because Matt and I are good at it --  they're mostly self sufficient. And very patient with us. But after awhile, they think enough is enough then pop a squat in the middle of our living room.

Which is why this is the BEST purchase we have done TO DATE.

Matt is so amazing at vacuuming and cleaning the carpets.
HIS LINES ARE PERFECT.
(Coming from a very OCD wife)

Because he's so great, I treated him to soupless Minestrone (Soupless NOT on purpose)

And while the Minestrone ended up being "broth-less" (I used too many veggies and not enough veggie broth) - it was still super yummy and I was totally impressed. WHY?!

Because I didn't use a recipe! I threw in what sounded right, what looked good, and BAM - it was amazeballs. Could have used more broth, I guess.

Speaking of Minestrone, we got in the mood for homemade after eating at Olive Garden the other night.
Want to know what we ate.........??

CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!

Vegan Matt ate Five Cheese Baked Ziti and Vegan Jaclyn ate Cheese Ravioli.

WHY DID WE DO SUCH A THING???

Well, at the time, it sounded good. And we were also curious as to how our bodies would react to it. So, we tried it.

To be honest, it was okay. Not nearly as good as I thought it would be. The good news: Matt and I didn't get sick/nauseous at all (I think its from all the NON VEGAN Starbucks I've been ordering lately).

Nonetheless, this doesn't mean we are no longer vegan. This is simply saying that SHOULD we EVER get in the situation of a VEGETARIAN ONLY dinner option, we can still at least eat.
Which is always good.

Last night, it snowed.

Which just puts me over the moon because CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!

Enjoy the pictures of Pappy and Wally's first time playing in the snow:

Matt doing adult, home owner things = shoveling our driveway.

Speaking of SNOW and CHRISTMAS:

Would it shock you to know that I'm more than half way done with our Christmas shopping??

I have been on a CHRISTMAS SHOPPING FRENZY. I can give you the exact dollar amount of nearly everything in Target (I've been going SO MUCH lately). And I make lists. TONS OF LISTS.
Christmas Lists. Shopping Lists. Christmas to do shopping lists. You get it.

CANT WAIT UNTIL BLACK FRIDAY!

This was Matt's reaction when I picked him up from work the other day -- and he saw all the Christmas shopping I had done earlier.

BY THE WAY- Have you tried the NEW Chestnut Praline latte at Starbucks?!?
OMG - its our new favorite!!!

We're really, really scared to see how Pappy and Wally react to the Christmas tree. I have this awful feeling its just going to tip over from Pappy trying to tackle it. Sigggghhh......

We were THIS CLOSE to decorating for Christmas today -- but I'm really trying my BEST to hold off until Thanksgiving (like what normal people do).

Would you believe that this actually happened?!!?

So, so, so, so, so happy!!
