(only the best orchard in the world! Remember last year's post?)
The place was packed.... like always.
Matt and I did our annual grocery shopping (apples, donuts, salsa, cider, etc.), participated in some yummy fudge tasting, caramel apple eating, and topped it off with a visit with my AMAZING friends.
We even got Wally and Pappy and pumpkin flavored bone!
Ice cream, apple pie, donuts... Definitely not vegan.
Our stomachs hated us later in the night. But did that stop us from eating more donuts the next morning?
Nope! (They're just so delicious)
Speaking of Apples. I've switched over to the dark side. (and I LOVE IT)
No, that is not an iPhone 6 because AmFam's network hasn't approved the 6 yet. And REALLY -- all I care about is email, Facebook, blogger, and instagram. I'm such a basic white girl (Click here to read all about us!)
#thankful
House Updates:
We officially own a lawn mower. (Does this make us grown ups?)
Last Friday - SOME of our furniture was delivered. The rest is on back order - expected to arrive on October 25th. (eye roll)
The counter top and backsplash guy came out and measured. We're going to view the granite slabs tomorrow after work. The installation date is still unknown. HOPEFULLY SOON.
Appliances get delivered/installed October 22nd (which is Wednesday!) Yippee Skippy!
And I PROMISE I will post pictures of the house when its all put together. Befores and Afters. Hopefully the dogs don't destroy it by then.
More importantly --
69 days until Christmas!!!!!
Although - Until November 1st, our home will be decorated in everything Halloween and Fall. We're enjoying all of our classic scary movies and are planning to go pick out a pumpkin at the Pumpkin Patch in a week or two. I tried convincing Matt to allow me to spend $75 on Halloween costumes for the two of us, the two kitties, and two pups (ISN'T THAT A GOOD DEAL?!) He was a tad hesitant being its a group costume and we can't even get Ernie and Lulu in the same room as Pappy and Wally. Sort of poses a problem.
Apparently there a ga-jillion trick or treaters in our neighborhood every year. The previous owner told me we'll need somewhere around 8-10 bags of candy. We plan on turning off the light, locking the door, and having the 10 bags of candy for ourselves. I assume we won't be good vegans, or neighbors, that night either.
Mmmmmmm Reese's.
