Lazy Weekend

This weekend has been so nice and relaxing.

My most major dilemma was deciding whether or not I liked gin instead of vodka in my dirty martinis.

and laundry. I hate laundry.

One of the great things about having pups-
They make you stay home.
It breaks our hearts every Monday when we leave for work. Crating the pups knowing that they'll be spending 8 hours in their tiny bed, with little exercise or social interaction. Our dog sitter, Sharon, is a GODSEND and they love her to pieces - but after their fun walk and playtime with her, they have to go back to their crate for another 4 or so hours before we're home.
On weekends, we make a conscious effort to stay at home as much as possible. At max, we'll go grocery shopping and to church, but other than that -- the pups are constantly roaming the house. As free as can be. Its lovely.

Some of the more difficult things about having pups:

Lulu insists on being the center of attention. And its adorable.

The boys are on their second set of deer antlers since Christmas

Which is great because deer antlers are much cheaper than dining room furniture, dry wall, computer keyboards, TV remotes, etc. etc. etc.

Ernie has had a rough weekend.

On Friday, Ernie Banks, the Hall of Fame Cubs baseball player, AKA Mr. Cub #14 -- passed away at the age of 83.

Poor Little Ernie

My dad's text on Saturday morning:
"I just read about Ernie Banks, how are the kids and Matt holding up?....Don't let Ernie hit the catnip too much, just enough to ease the pain..."
I love my parents.

I also love homemade vegan pizza. Mmmmmmmmmm.

The best thing about Vegan pizza is that you can eat the WHOLE thing and not feel bad.
ALL VEGGIES!!

Daily Juicing is still going great AND we start p90x3 tomorrow.

Are you all ready for weigh ins and "before" pictures?? BECAUSE THEY'RE COMING.

We watched the "introductory video" over the weekend and nearly DIED.

ON TOP OF THAT (HALF IRON MAN TRAINING)
Matt and I will be participating in:::
The Color Run - in June
The Warrior Dash - in August
AND OUR FIRST TRIATHLON - In September.

HOLY SHIT.

Carmy stopped by the other night -  and we watched cheer videos just like we did when we were 16 years old. IT WAS AWESOME.

And lastly, while walking the dogs tonight -- Wally was pulling so much (They are getting so damn strong) that I slipped on the ice in my NO GRIP Uggs, and my ass fell smack dab on the sidewalk. Ouch.

The boys are getting so big.
AND WE NEED TO GET THEM TRAINED ASAP.

They will love running with us in the Spring - when there is no ice. And when we can actually physically run.....

And now, for your viewing pleasure.
Watch from your real COMPUTER.

When I was in shape.

And now. Prepping for p90x3.....

Monday morning tomorrow. :(:(:(
