Be still, my heart

Carmy and I had the absolute pleasure of going to visit Lillian Charlotte and her family in Charlotte, NC this past weekend. It was lovely.

Ashley had no clue. Which made it even more exciting.

We took the 3:40 AM bus into O'Hare

And took a nonstop flight to Charlotte at 7:30 AM

Chris picked us up at the airport and brought us to their house while Ashley was at a doctor appointment with Lily.

The surprise:

Our weekend was filled with lots of cuddles, pictures, stories, songs, a fun zoo trip, a pizza and pj party, and lots of best friend chats.

It was SO GREAT seeing Ashley and her adorable little family

But it was even more wonderful witnessing how amazing of a Mom she is

Her children and husband are so incredibly lucky to have her. She is best Mommy I know, and I aspire to someday be even half as good of a Mommy as she is.

You can see the love and happiness in LC's smile and eyes. She loves her Mommy so much.

And we love her Mommy just the same

Thank you for the fabulous weekend Lamano Fam. Aside from the five pounds I've gained from all the Starbucks and the Cinnabons I ate at the airport, it was perfect. :)

Reunited at last.
