Just Married!!!

I am finally getting back into the swing of things of having a "normal" life. I swear for a moment there, every single possible thing that was mentioned somehow ended in us thinking or talking about the BIG DAY!

Well the big day has come and gone. And in a nutshell, it was absolutely beautiful. More than we could have ever imagined. And finally -- after 18 months -- I have a clear mind again. Or as clear as it will ever get. I have LONG blogs to write about the day of the wedding, opening up gifts, our honeymoon, and so on. But first--- I wanted to make sure I knew how to work this website. We'll see if this gets successfully posted into "blogger world" -- hopefully it does.

I chose to create a blog because, well, quite frankly--- its the next cool thing (who am I kidding? blogging has been around for years....) and I LOVE writing. Facebook is all fine and dandy, but there's no way all 490 of my friends care about our expected home improvements, a new fireplace, recipes, a new car purchase, our cats, or even quite possible (GASP!) a new puppy! (fingers crossed.............)

So you will find all of that fun info here. I will be open and honest on my new live as a WIFE --- and about my poor husband who lives off of frozen food... (maybe one day I'll attempt to cook and talk about it on here.) I also thought it would be a great way for family and friends who live far away to keep up with our lives here in good ol' Madison, Wisconsin.

Well thats about it for now. This was really written as a "test" blog. Plus, my adorable husband (I love saying that word!) was snoring on the couch by 9pm. Its time for bed for us old married folks! (And no, this is not a new thing. Im impressed if we make it this late!)

Keep your eyes out for my next post soon! I am waiting for our CD of images from our wedding photographer before I blog about the wedding. They - are - stunning.


And of course, in order for this blog to be titled -- Life with the Fennels -- THIS had to happen.
